and that got me to thinkin' that maybe it's time for a change,

For three days now i've been all alone ,
most people say that i'm too far gone,
day in day out always the same old thing.
well my thoughts they would race a million miles an hour,
peace of mind it was a dying flower,
full of doubt and doubtful of anything,
after forty years walkin' in desert sand,
I recalled a story told about a promised land,
where the winds and the waves will bow down at his feet,
then all at once the stone it was rolled away ,
and the sunshine came into my grave,
then the resurrection said these words to me.

He cried Lazarus,Lazarus come forth, loose him and let him go,
Lazarus ,Lazarus for the love of God to the world through you I show.
Well from that day forth everything has changed,
I don't have to live down and out in shame ,
he abides in me and I abide in him,
we're made more than a conqueror by his word,
he was dead one day but living on the third,
now forevermore with Jesus is where I live.

the light that cast out shadows,the joy of which I sing,
and he's the saviour,he's the master,
he's my teacher,my best friend,
the springtime in times of sorrow,
when my life is over his begins.

the lamb of God the great I am,
I follow the shepperd he made me free,
so therefore, goodness and mercy will follow me
And he's the rock of my salvation,
it's in him that we have victory,
the spirit that will guide us into all truth,

I was hopeless and forgotten,
with no one to call friend,
then in came the messiah ,
his beginning was my end.

of Israel my Hightower,he's my Sheild,he is the Son.

So praise his name ,and lift him higher,
even our breath belongs to him,
seek his face and glorify him,
now that's when life truly begins.
All Sufficient ,Saviour,Manna that fell from the sky,
King of Kings,Messiah,and he's the Wellspring of Life,

for I know his yoke is easy,and his burden is light.

A torn and tattered cover on the bible by the bed,
the things that it had been through could not affect the things within,
the pages they were pure and white,and the words,still blood red,
in the book of John there was a yellowed letter,
and this is what it said.

for us that were always one step left of living right,
you're looking in the mirror,all your flaws these words will find,
he died not for the cover but your reflection you'll see inside,
